When they first starting dating Kendall gave up many date nights because she was obsessed with baseball. “There would be no interruptions on game night,” she annouced and if Chuck wanted to spend time with her, he needed to adopt this passionate lifestyle she had for the game. And that was exactly what happened. Their relationship bonded over baseball, pumpkins and food. On their wedding day there were little details all over reminding them of how many good times they had because of their love for baseball and I’m sure many more to come.

They spend the whole day laughing. When I arrived at their getting ready location all the girls were pretty much ready (so organized) and we spend the majority of the time conversing and with me squealing over all the cute baseball items. During groomsmen picture, Chuck and his groomsmen cracked jokes the whole time. That is the type of couple they are: Fun, adventurous, light-hearted. It was beautiful day with an amazing couple. Congrats Chuck and Kendall.

I’m seriously going (in the words of Rachel Zoe) bananas over this earrings. So adorable!

I really love this candid image of Kendall and her dad. Father daughter moments have always touched my heart. (Because you know I’m a total Daddy’s girl.)

Kendall looks absolutely radiant! Look at that bridal glow!

I know Kendall is closing her eyes in this image, but there is something so incredibly endearing about it.

Have you seen anything more awesome than this baseball boutonniere?

If you love baseball as much as they do or if you just think the baseball earrings are just bees-knees make sure you like, share and comment below.

They were both headed out with a night with their friends and Greg remembered seeing Vanessa in the car ride there from the window of another car. “I was hoping she would be going to where I was going,”. When he saw her come up the stairway he couldn’t help but be excited, “She’s here!” And although Vanessa didn’t notice that she had passed by Greg on the car ride there her friends felt an instinct connection between him and her and encouraged her to say hi to him. After gathering up enough courage to approach she quickly walked pass him, said, “Hi”, freaked out and then ran away. This is such a cute little story about how they met. I love hearing about it and when they told me they wanted to shoot at the Mix, where they met I squealed! First, I just think it’s fantastic when people make their engagement session personal and 2nd, this place was so CHIC!

I met Vanessa at another wedding and I instantly had a connection to her. I just knew that she would be a great friend and one day my bride. When she first told me about Greg she just had a light in her eyes and I knew from what she told me that he would be a sweet guy. When I heard his story about how he purposed…he planned out a whole day on the beach, looked and stressed over the perfect scenery to pop the question…it proved to me that he was an awesome guy!

They are just FABULOUS and so much in love. This couple seriously makes me SWOON! Congrats on your engagement Greg + Vanessa!

If you think they are simply DEVINE, make sure you like, share, and comment below. :)

We started their engagement session at my favorite spot in Midtown!

Vanessa and Greg are very much atheletic outdoorsy people so we headed over to the capital for a couple of shots before we headed over to the MIX.

…and here, where their love story began. THE MIX!

Look at this CHIC suit Greg is wearing. STYLE-LISH!

Some of my favorite shots of the day….

Earlier on my facebook I notice people were saying that they were looking totally BOSS! LOVE it, make sure you like and share if you think so too.

When Ryan moved to Sacramento for his new job he told his dad he didn’t think he would make any friends. Little did he know that he would meet the love of his life, Shannon, and four years later they would be married. They love art, travel and fashion. Bri, Shannon’s sister said in her toast that Shannon was always the most beautiful girl in school. I have no doubt that is true because her dress, her make-up, her bouquet was so unique! “Very Marilyn Monroe,” Bri said to me. :) I’m so happy to have had the honor to know them and have shot their wonderful wedding. Shannon told me at the beginning of the day that she was worrier. It was a really sweet kind of worry though. She was constantly thinking of everyone besides herself. Doing other people’s make-up, making sure people ate before her. She is the sweetest person, ever! And then when I asked Ryan if he needed anything from me he said, “I should be asking you that.” LOL. They are truly fun, positive, kind and loving couple. They told me they would be heading out to Asia for their honeymoon. I hope they are being safe and bring back lots of gorgeous pictures….but for now enjoy my favorite images from their beautiful day!

If you think this couple is GORGEOUS and super sweet, Make sure you give them some love, comment, like and share below.

I love this idea of suculets as table tags. Also the dessert bar was yummy!

Right now I am sitting here in my office looking through a few photos from an engagement session I just took a few hours ago. I came upon a picture that truly touched my heart and then I started thinking about the two couples that I had the pleasure of shooting this weekend. I thought about how my bride yesterday, Shannon, was worried about where I would sit or eat and how she was so apologetic the whole day about stuff that brides shouldn’t be apologetic about. And then today when my bride, Vanessa, bought me water at the coffee shop we were meeting because she was worried about me not hydrating in the heat. Seriously, Who does that?

I’m feeling such a rush of joy and happiness. It’s such a weird feeling to explain, like a fluttering in your heart and the pit of your stomach. It reminded me of the feeling I had in high school when I met Lance. After a whirlwind of thoughts streamed through my head, I realized that this feeling was not just because I love my couples, it was because for the first time I really feel like I am living my DREAM and that I was meant to do this.

I remember so many times I laid in bed worrying about responding to emails, booking clients and thinking about all the mistakes I made. Gosh, there were countless of “I think I should quit” conversations. There were times that I thought I could never get it right.

…but only today….only right now I am looking back at all those mistakes and saying if I never made those, if I had quit, I would have never been able to sit here and feel SOOOO BLESSED! And by all means I am not a religious person, but I am so thankful for you….

…and by you! I mean, my couples who have faith enough in me to let me into a piece into your life, for welcoming me with open arms, for making me laugh, for sharing their stories with me, for giving me a chance, for looking past all my flaws and FOR loving EACH OTHER so much that you make me cry looking at your photos.

I can sit here all day and say that it was because I worked so hard to perfect my craft, but without you, I would be no where. You are truly my biggest supporters!

I am definitely not perfect, but I have found the perfect couples for me….and that is a gift very dear to me.

After 6 years my husband and I finally got an office divorce. Finally, I have my own space to watch inappropriate stuff on my computer. LOL. Just kidding. :) I have to say I’m pretty happy with the remodel although our house is still a mess and I’ve been driving my husband crazy because when I want something done I want it down right away. One of my worse personality traits is I lack patience. For instance last night I was rushing Lance to put up the rod for the curtains, “I need to do a blog tomorrow regarding my office remodel!” Like It’s the end of the world if I don’t get this blog up today. No worries, it got done because my husband is awesome. :) Today, I’m super happy to share my office space with you. Come take a tour with me.

So here are the before. When we got this house we painted this room and I forgot what we planned to actually do in this room, but lets just say this blue is a disastrous color to paint over. For some time before all the junk was in I did use it as a room to shoot in and got some cool images out of it.

And here is the after. Ahhhh!!! This is also the only time you will probably see my office this clean.

If you want to get a little more info on where I bought everything take the video tour. :) Forewarning, it’s mostly shot from my iphone, so a little shaky. Enjoy!
