They met through a mutual friend 2 year ago and now they are getting hitched in May at the beautiful Foresthouse lodge. When Katy and Charles arrived to their engagement shoot they were all dressed up in the cowboy boots and I thought how much it represented the rugged side of their personality and I thought about the last wedding I shot at Foresthouse and I really believe they chose such a perfect venue for them. Katy mentioned in her email that Charles really liked the big outdoors so we decided to meet up in Folsom. What I love about them is they are so silly together and they really wanted their pictures to be easy and fun. Charles said to me during their engagement shoot, “You don’t know what you got yourself into…” and with all my couples…I wouldn’t have it any other way. Congrats you two and I cannot wait for your wedding.
